Big Top Beauty and the Beast 29th November to 3rd December 2017

We are so pleased and excited to be given the honour of presenting this brand NEW Pantomime, written by Charlie Vincent and Rebecca Stoppard.
Based on the story of Beauty and The Beast with the bonus of being set in a Circus. Intruiged, then why not come along and see for yourselves how the many Circus characters help bring love to the Beast. The cast of characters is endless, but here are a few to give you a taster. Mystic Mallory (the fortune telling Dame) & her silly son Russell, Zitrot the Ring Mistress (and baddy) accompanied by the comedy duo Ruff and Tumble.
Cyril and Cecil Butlers to the Beast, and of course the beautiful Rose. In addition we have an amazing ensemble of Circus acts such as Tina the terrified Tightrope walker, Marjory the Marginally Accurate Knife Thrower, Belinda the Bearded lady, Nellie the elephant, and many more. There will be all the usual pantomime fun, jokes , songs and dance, great costumes, and of course plenty of audience participation. So why not join us.

We are delighted to be performing at The Bradford Playhouse in Little Germany. The Playhouse has a lovely old theatre feel to it with comfortable seating in the Stalls and Circle and a Bar for your interval refreshment, and plenty of secure parking just accross the road.

Tickets on sale now, get yours by following the link on this website, or contact the theatre direct on 01274 800415.

Excerpt from review Of Spend Spend Spend by Philip Lickley in The Bradford Review (full review can be found at

"Coming out of Spend, Spend, Spend on a damp Saturday night my mood had been lifted both by a musical that tackles many issues in a warm, witty, emotive way alongside some catchy numbers, and the strong performances by the Bradford Players in bringing it to life. All those who saw the show over its five performances would have got a real treat from a production that looked every bit as professional as anything you could get by a bigger group, with the core cast and chorus throwing all their energy into the performances supported by some very detailed set, prop, lighting and musical work. The cast looked like they were having a ball on stage and this enthusiasm passed over to the audience. An absolute joy."

Comments from Facebook
"Came to see the matinee performance of Spend Spend Spend. Everyone is to be congratulated on a fabulous performance beautifully portrayed. What a lovely little theatre it lended itself completely to the production. Looking forward to "Brassed Off". Keep them coming. THANK YOU" by Anne Griffin

"I laughed, I cried, I danced, I sang .... I heckled! It was absolutely fantastic .... beats anything I have seen at the Alhambra so far! Totally professional and resonated totally with Yorkshire life .... even today! Well done!" by Irene Young
